Hamptons Grow reflects over 30 years of culinary and horticultural expertise honed in the finest homes and restaurants across The Hamptons, New York, and Los Angeles. He further refined his craft operating the states first seed to feed catering program and farm in Montauk. He observed that even the most affluent estates lacked sustainable, resilient gardening practices and were ill-equipped to survive long periods of isolation had the need arisen.
Traditional methods, reliant on harmful fertilizers, compromise the purity of food, soil, and water—elements intrinsic to The Hamptons’ cherished landscape. His vision: gardens that elevate daily living while ensuring self-sufficiency during prolonged isolation. A global adventurer with roots in Montauk, our founder brings a profound reverence for nature, traditional craftsmanship, and wholesome living. Shawn is currently enrolled in the Small Farms Program at Cornell University, where he is deepening his knowledge in sustainable agriculture, regenerative farming practices, and small-scale farm management.
